The Office of Equal Business Opportunity (OEBO) is starting to plan for Small Business Week, April 29 through May 3.  As we did last year, we will culminate the week with the Hard Hats and Suits information and networking event hosted by the County’s five (5) construction departments: -          Airports -          Engineering -          Environmental Resource Management -          Facilities, Development & Operations -          Water Utilities The departments will provide information on current and upcoming projects that you and many of our Small Business Enterprises (SBE) may be interested in and hopefully create or reaffirm relationships.  In addition to the department representatives, County Administration and many department directors [...]

Florida Women on the Run (WOR) is a transformative non-partisan campaign training and mentorship program that equips women to step confidently into political roles, campaign leadership, or community advocacy.   Since 2013, the Women's Foundation of Florida has empowered over 500 women statewide. Remarkably, more than 35 of these incredible individuals have embraced the challenge of running for office this year alone, with 24 currently serving in elected positions. Countless others have taken on appointed roles, leadership positions, and campaign roles. Let's work together to shape the future of women's leadership in Florida.
