The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department is excited to partner with Visit Palm Beach, Palm Beach County's Department of Environmental Resources Management and the Palm Beach EcoTourism Association to coordinate a cleanup project on Earth Day! Volunteers will be divided into two cleanup groups: You can participate by helping to cleanup the park grounds and natural areas that are accessible by walking. OR You can help cleanup litter up the Lake Worth Lagoon along the borders of the Snook Islands and around other nearby islands and mangroves by paddling. United Way of Palm Beach County’s Women United group is hosting a virtual career inspiration panel and interactive workshop for middle school girls on Saturday, April 24th from 10-11am. This free program will feature a panel of professional women in non-traditional female careers along with an interactive activity to help the girls identify their leadership strengths and style. Each participant will be mailed a swag bag and receive one hour of community service. This is a fun, educational, and impactful experience your middle-schooler won't want to miss!
