In honor of International Women’s Day, join Rosemary Square and Dress for Success Palm Beaches on March 8 at 8AM for an empowering discussion featuring four women who are making an impact across different industries in West Palm Beach and beyond. The event will offer unique insights and a fresh perspective on their vast professional and personal experiences, advice and tips, as well as the lasting impact we can all make on our communities through supporting each other and our neighborhoods.

Participants include:

-Moderator: Lorna James, City of West Palm Beach Mayoress
-Panelist: Dr. Debra Schwinn, President of Palm Beach Atlantic University
-Panelist: Joiri Minaya, New Wave Artist in Residence
-Panelist: Lisabet “LB” Summa, Exec Culinary Director, Big Time Restaurant Group
-Panelist: Doreen Allen, Senior Director of Sales, Lucid Motors

Event is free and open to the public with RSVP. Upgrade to a VIP ticket for $10 to receive a gift bag. All attendees are encouraged to bring new, unopened mascaras for Dress for Success. If you bring 3 or more, you’ll also receive a gift bag.

Proceeds will benefit the Palm Beach chapter of Dress for Success, an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to 160 cities in 29 countries. To date, Dress for Success has helped more than 1 million women work toward self-sufficiency. The local affiliate Dress for Success Palm Beaches opened its doors in April, 2010, to serve a community where the poverty rate for women is 20.9%, and in that time has assisted nearly 6,000 women through job readiness courses and its defining wardrobing program.
